This building was opened at the west gateway of JR Koriyama Station
in March 2001. It is a 24-story building with one lower ground
floor, and the highest in Fukushima Prefecture with a height of
133m. This is the new look of Koriyama in the 21st century as
a landmark that succeeded the frontier spirit of the predecessors
of Asaka development. This is a multiple building equipped with
a shopping zone of "Molty" from 1st to 5th floor, "Civilianユs
Plaza" focusing on the Civic Service Center from 6th to 7th
floor, "Fukushima Prefectural Meisei Senior High School"
from 8th to 14th floor, offices for Intelligent property from
15th to 19th floor, "Satellite Graduate School of Fukushima
University", and "Koriyama City Science Hall with heartstrings"
from 20th to 24th floor.

This museum is situated in Fudokigaoka where you can see the whole
view from Koriyama City to Mt. Adatara. It houses the arts on the
subject of English Art, modern Japanese Art, Junshiro Sato's art,
art related to Koriyama and art of books (edition).

This is the multi-purpose facility, which combines a convention
function and a sport function, standing in Bandai Atami Spa Town.
Visitors from inside and outside the city can enjoy recreation and
building up the health. This hot spring works on rheumatism and
distress. There are 9 kinds of bathtubs, such as a drumming hot
water bath, a shipping hot water bath, a sauna bath and an open-air
bath in the wide bath.
Nearby is Ice Arena, which is used for an indoor rink in winter,
and for tennis, badminton and gate ball courts in summer.

Ningyo Joruri, or Japanese puppet show was prevailed in Kansai
and Shikoku districts in Edo period, and this was also performed
at Takakura of Asakayamanoi Village (Takakura of Hiwada Town).
This is reputed to be located in the northernmost of distribution
of Japanese puppet show in Japan, but its beginning was not clear.
Later, it was abolished in Meiji period, so all the tools including
dolls were preserved in baskets for clothes, and placed in Sanseiji
Temple. Now, they are all preserved in Hiwada Public Hall and
displayed.

80 minute-ride in Shinkansen train, from Tokyo to Koriyama. Koriyama
is developing as a hub city of southern part of Tohoku District
linking with the major cities by the three-dimentional access net,

This is a full-dress skate rink, which is used as the speed skate
arena for "The National Athletic Meet in Fukushima" held

This collecting hall of literature houses and displays works and
data of Koriyama-related writers including Masao Kume, Yuriko Miyamoto
and Yutaka Mafune. Memorial Hall of Masao Kume was reconstructed
in this site after transferred from Mr. Kumeユs resident built in
Kamakura City in 1930.

and equipped with a large hall for 1,998 people, a middle-size hall
for 800 people, an assembly room for 300 people, an exhibition room,
