This is a tranquil
spa resort surrounded by greenery at the foot of Sanmori Pass.
The origin of this spa is very old. It is said that Minamoto
Yoshiie found this spring late Heian period.
In a quiet forest, you can take a bath restfully and eat the
renowned carp cooking. Thatﾕs why so many people come here
from the near towns as well as a very far part like Kanto
district. Nearby is Yasumiishi or a stone of resting related
to Yoshiie. |

This spa resort
is located in a place with ample nature near Yasumiishi at
the foot of Sanmori Pass. It is called "Hot spring of
fertility", and people suffering from sterility visit
here and take a bath. It is also known as a hot spring to
cure hernia that is very rare in Tohoku District. In the early
summer, many people visit here to start climbing Mt. Takahata. |

 "Sunny
Land Konan" was established to promote welfare for the healthy
and bright lives by providing a place of health care, health seeking
and recreation with hot spring.
This facility is located at Rt. 294 of Konan Town in the southern
part of Lake Inawashiro. You can view magnificent scenery of Mt.
Bandai from the lakeside and Mt. Nukobiki. You will see swans at
the lakeside in winter, and enjoy swimming and camping in summer.

 Gold
hot spring at Takatama Goldmine contains Radium ore and Tourmaline.
Tourmaline is effective for stimulating blood circulation and vitalizing
life energy.
Health mat is prepared in the resting room for the refreshment as
Health hot spring this year.
Within the facility, "Takatama Goldmine", one of the big
three goldmines in Japan is located. It used to be very vigorous
in old days. You can experience the mine exploration and gold digging
there. Data Hall presenting rare mineral ores is also situated.
Please enjoy this hall as well as hot spring.

 Go
1.5 km up to the south from Iwaki Moriyama Station of Suigun Line,
and you will find a spa resort in a peaceful rice paddy field on
the boundary between Koriyama and Sukagawa. Elements of hot spring,
which was sprung from a wood of pine trees by chance after the war,
were proven excellent. It is effective for Neuralgia, Rheumatism
and Bruises. Gate-ball park is one of its attractions, so gate-ball
fans are pleased to come here.
